Tories and Maga Republicans

Here’s a thought, or perhaps I should start at the beginning.

Once upon a time, there was a conservative who partnered up with a professional thief. They hatched a scheme to take control, and when they succeeded, the tory came into play.

The tory’s main game is self-enrichment, leaving the rest hoping for even just a few scraps.

For my American pals, the current tory is an ERG tory. That means they’re influenced by the most uninformed folks in society. Emotions sway them easily, and facts hold no value against their belief in fanciful ideas only their savior can deliver. ERG tory is like a Maga Republican. Johnson, Trump, and their buddy Farage. Perhaps Putin has a hand in aiding these autocratic supporters of nonsense.

Experts don’t really matter to them; after all, facts are unnecessary when faith in bright futures of “whiteness greatness” takes over.

Yes, it’s utterly wrong. Even the smartest savior wouldn’t approve of this.

But let’s get back on track. We should put forth laws, not just codes of behavior, that stop politicians from engaging in the sort of antics tories and maga republicans are up to, and there should be real consequences for wrongdoing. Although it seems like Americans have a handle on using the law, Britain, take a cue from them.
