Many folks reckon dodging taxes is a grand idea, and so do I, when it’s me we’re talking about.
But I’m not swimming in riches, so I can’t just skip out on taxes. It must be quite something to be wealthy and get away with that.
I reckon I’d be a bit of a git if I were rich and pulled that off. What happened to the whole ‘trickle-down’ idea?
If they ponied up the same fraction of their wealth as us regular folks, how come they avoid their responsibilities?
It’s a rather primitive way of thinking, if you ask me, and it doesn’t smell too pleasant.
We ought to aim higher than just behaving like animals; that should be the bare minimum, I reckon.
