They genuinely reckon that folks who can splash out on cigarettes can also manage private healthcare… and you know what, they might have a point.
The IEA, well, they’re leaning quite far to the right, some might say really far. It’s basically a bunch of folks who think everything should be hands-off and left to its own devices.
But, let’s be honest, do you really think letting everything run wild without rules is the best way to run a country? I mean, governments are kinda here to keep things in check, like safety valves, right?
If we’re talking about a totally unregulated economy, we’d better make sure there’s some serious oversight on the military front. The military should be under the control of a people’s council, a second house that’s elected and includes folks with real expertise, academics, and people who’ve proven they know their stuff.
The House of Lords, as it stands, doesn’t mean much unless it’s accountable to the people. It should be filled with recognized experts in their fields, not financial extremists like those IEA folks. This whole deal has only really worked in places with dictators and a struggling population. Is that really what the English want for themselves?
The Tory party and the IEA, they’re like peas in a pod. Voting for the Conservatives is like taking a step towards Trumpism, and that’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
Speaking of the IEA and the ERG, these secretive, publicly funded think-tanks getting cash from who knows where, they’re a bit shady, aren’t they? Just a little reminder: consider your options carefully, but maybe steer clear of voting Tory.
