NOT A BUG, A FEATURE
It’s comforting to think of him as a freak accident. He isn’t. He’s exactly what you get when:
– Wealth is allowed to pile up at the top.
– Media profits from chaos.
– Politics is treated as branding.
– Strength is equated with the ability to hurt and never apologise.
He’s not the disease. He’s a rash.
You can remove the rash, stage a whole ceremony about it, and still leave the infection; concentrated wealth, hollowed-out institutions, professionalised resentment; untouched. The system will just keep growing new versions of him. Some will be quieter. Some will be smarter. One may even speak in full paragraphs. That’s when it gets properly dangerous.
